Manual QA Engineer

GO7, an innovative force in the airline technology sector, is looking for a skilled Middle Manual QA to join our team. The role involves testing software, identifying bugs, working with logs and ensuring a high-quality user experience. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills. 


What are we looking for? 
We are looking for a skilled QA with a strong background in manual testing and experience in working with API test cases. The successful candidate will be involved in the full lifecycle development of a large-scale product. You will work closely with our product and development teams to ensure the product is fully functional and is up to date to all modern business requirements.

Key functions and responsibilities include: 
● Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, acceptance) 
● Create and update test documentation, including defects, test cases and regression cycles 
● Work closely with developers, analysts and other QAs to ensure quality standards 
● Investigate logs to provide documented root causes and help the development team Knowledge, Skills, and Experience 
● 2+ years of manual testing business experience 
● Experience in testing web applications 
● Proficiency in designing, executing and maintaining API test cases (RESTful or GraphQL) 
● Work history in creating and supporting test documentation 
● Skills in analyzing logs for troubleshooting 
● Experience working with Agile teams 
● Familiarity with SQL syntax It would be a plus: 
● Experience in testing frontend features that depend on backend APIs 
● Knowledge of GDS messaging protocols and testing 
● Experience working with Graylog, Grafana or similar log management tools 

Soft Skills: 
● Analytical mindset for troubleshooting and root cause analysis ● Good communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with developers, analysts and the support team 
● Proactivity and willingness to expand the Acceptance criteria described by an analyst ● Ability to approach problems systematically and to use all available data sources to identify the root cause
